The Fatal Consequences of Human Isolation - Abstract (Revised)

Is there a correlation between the lack of physical or emotional interactions and physical health? After several years interested in this topic I found that the answer is yes. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that the lack or deficiency of physical and emotional interactions among humans leads first, to psychological, and then to biological disorders, and that the extreme of total social isolation may provoke a fatal outcome, even death. The method I will use consists in finding a relation among already-studied psychological disorders that have biological implications.

Wow, what a fascinating subject. Could you identify the contest/conference this would be for? Try making your title more unique and specific. You give good background and examples. Your subject is powerful and your writing matches. Good job!

I agree, I think that your concept is a really interesting one. I am guessing that perhaps once you "boiled down" your abstract you narrowed your subject down a little bit? I think it might be a bit too much to chew all in one paper! It might be interesting to use the more severe forms as background but do your paper on the lesser forms - it's a current event that seems to happen with increasing frequency. Nice job! Also you might want to re-read your abstract to take care of some grammatical issues (like at the very end).

I really like this idea because I have seen documentaries on how human isolation can hinder growth mentally, emotionally, and physically. They can be drastic. It will be interesting to see what you have learnt.
